FieldIQ – Data Deletion Requests

1. About FieldIQ
FieldIQ is a business application developed by JV Consulting for authorised field surveyors and client representatives to collect, manage and review retail outlet assessment information.
FieldIQ accounts are created and authorised by administrators. Users cannot create their own accounts within the application.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of personal information associated with FieldIQ, send an email to:
Email subject: FieldIQ – Data Deletion Request
Please include:
- Your registered FieldIQ email address.
- Your name.
- The organisation you are associated with, if applicable.
- A brief description of the information you would like deleted.
Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
JV Consulting may need to verify your identity or confirm your authority before processing a request.
3. Information That May Be Deleted
Depending on the circumstances and applicable obligations, eligible deletion requests may cover:
- User account information and associated personal identifiers.
- Personal information associated with field survey activities.
- Locally stored personal data where deletion is technically possible.
- Other personal information that is no longer required for a legitimate purpose.
4. Information That May Be Retained
Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, contractual, security, audit or legal reasons.
This may include completed survey records, VisitIDs, photographs, signatures, location evidence, transaction logs and historical assessment information.
Where information is controlled by a client organisation, JV Consulting may need to refer the request to that organisation for authorisation or processing.
Information that must be retained will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and authorised retention arrangements. Retention periods depend on the relevant legal, contractual and operational requirements.
5. Request Handling
JV Consulting will acknowledge and assess deletion requests and explain the outcome, including whether information has been deleted, cannot be deleted, or requires authorisation from another organisation.
Requests will be handled within timeframes required by applicable law.
